Custom web app and mobile app development
The right software
is the one you enjoy using.
We design and build custom web apps and internal tools: client portals, dashboards, configurators, back-office software, and iOS and Android apps when you need them. We start from how you work today and write the software around it, not the other way round.
You don’t always need
new software.
Before writing any code we ask whether it’s worth it. Sometimes an existing service does the job, and when it does, we tell you.
Off the shelf makes sense
- Your process is standard, the same as everyone’s
- Its features are all you need
- The subscription stays affordable as you grow
- It doesn’t need to talk to other systems
Custom makes sense
- The way you work is an advantage worth keeping
- One task takes three tools and a spreadsheet
- It has to connect to your ERP, shop or CRM
- Licences and fees grow with every new hire
Process first
We look at how you work today, not at a feature list.
One step at a time
A first version with the essentials, then we add.
Widely used tools
Documented technologies other developers can read.
What we work with
Tools for work.
Not showcases.
Software you open in the morning and close at night. It has to be fast, clear and reliable.
- 01
Internal tools.
Orders, jobs, stock, shifts, paperwork. All in one place, with the right permissions for each person and a history of who did what.
- 02
Client and supplier portals.
A private area where your clients find orders, documents, requests and job status, without phone calls and endless email threads.
- 03
Dashboards and reports.
The numbers you rebuild by hand every month, always up to date and easy to read. With charts and filters designed for the people using them.
- 04
Configurators and quote tools.
Your client picks options and sizes, the system works out price and feasibility and hands you a complete request.
- 05
Integrations and automation.
We connect the web app to ERPs, CRMs, shops, payments and external services through APIs. Data moves on its own, no copy and paste.
- 06
iOS and Android apps.
When you need notifications, phone features or a place in the stores, the same project becomes an app too. Same backend as the web app, and we handle publishing on the App Store and Google Play.
From the process
to the first release.
You see something early, and decisions are made looking at real software.
- 01
Analysis.
We talk to the people who will use the software every day. We map the process, the data and the systems to connect.
- 02
Prototype.
We design the main screens in Figma and test them with you before writing code.
- 03
Staged releases.
We work on staging, one part at a time. You see and try every release before it goes live.
- 04
Live, then onwards.
Launch, data migration and, if needed, a first period of hands-on support. Then the web app grows with new features.
React, Next.js and Node.
Chosen to last.
The same language, TypeScript, from browser to server: fewer bugs and a project that’s easier to hand over. More on the React and Next.js and Node.js pages.
- 01
React and Next.js.
Fast, responsive interfaces in TypeScript, even with lots of data on screen. Server rendering where it helps, and they work on desktop, tablet and phone.
- 02
Node.js and APIs.
Logic, rules and integrations live in a tidy backend with documented APIs.
- 03
Payload CMS and databases.
When a full admin panel is needed we start from Payload, so roles, content and history are ready from day one.
- 04
Projects to take over.
React or Node web apps built by others and left stuck: we read the code, upgrade step by step and get deploys and a test environment back on track.
Before starting
a web app.
How much does a custom web app cost?
It depends on the project’s specs: how many features you need, how many systems it connects to, who will use it. After a first analysis we send a quote with scope, timing and price. It often pays to start with a smaller first version and grow it later.
Custom software or an off-the-shelf product?
If your process is standard, a ready-made product costs less and works fine. Custom pays off when the way you work is different, when you need to bring several tools together or when per-user fees get heavy. We’ll tell you honestly after the analysis.
Can the web app connect to our ERP or management software?
Yes, if it exposes APIs or allows some kind of data exchange, even through files. Before estimating we check what it offers, so we know how much work the integration takes.
Does it work on phones too?
Yes. The web apps we build adapt to desktop, tablet and phone, with nothing to install. If you need an app from the stores, we build it on the same backend.
App or web app?
If you need push notifications, phone features or a presence in the stores, an app makes sense. If people will mostly use it on a computer or only now and then, a web app costs less and is easier to update. Often the web app comes first and the app follows, on the same data.
Where does it run and who keeps it updated?
We can look after servers, backups, updates and monitoring for a yearly fee, or install it on your own infrastructure. Either way we keep a test environment separate from the live one.
Can you take over a web app built by someone else?
Yes. First we read the code and the infrastructure, then we tell you what to keep, what to fix and what to rewrite. It happens a lot with React and Node projects that have been stuck for a while.
Technology and services
that go together.
- 01SaaS developmentFrom idea to first live version: accounts, subscriptions, payments and an admin panel, with a product ready to grow.
- 02React and Next.jsWeb apps and interfaces in React and Next.js, written in TypeScript: new projects, frontends for existing backends and projects to take over.
- 03Node.jsBackends, APIs and integrations in Node.js and TypeScript: the unseen part of web apps, SaaS and ecommerce, tidy and documented.
- 04Payload CMSWebsites and platforms on Next.js with Payload CMS: an admin built around your content, multilingual, with drafts and live preview.
- 05UI and UX designInterfaces, prototypes and design systems in Figma, designed by the people who then build them: no surprises between design and code.
- 06Servers and DevOpsLinux servers set up and managed, hosting, automated deploys, staging, monitoring and migrations without taking the site down.
A process that needs fixing?
Let’s start there.
Tell us how you work today and what isn’t working: we’ll figure out the rest together.
