Shopware development

Shopware 6.
Shaped around how you sell.

We build stores on Shopware 6: custom plugins and apps, themes, pricing rules and integrations with your ERP and marketplaces. An open source platform made for catalogues, customers and price lists that grow, without Magento’s complexity.

What we do on Shopware

From the theme
to the order flow.

  1. 01

    Custom plugins and apps.

The features the Shopware Store doesn’t have, written as plugins or as apps connected through the API, so platform updates don’t wipe them out.

  2. 02

    Themes and Shopping Experiences.

A theme built on your design and blocks for Shopping Experiences, Shopware’s block editor your team uses to put together landing pages and categories.

  3. 03

    Rules, pricing and B2B.

Customer group prices, discounts, conditional shipping and payment methods, set up with the Rule Builder. B2B features where you need them, like quick orders and approvals.

  4. 04

    Integrations.

ERP, warehouse, couriers and marketplaces connected through Shopware’s Admin API and Store API, or with ready-made connector plugins when they’re enough.

Is Shopware right for you?

Powerful and tidy.
But not for every shop.

Shopware gives you a lot of control without Magento’s weight, but for a small store it can be more than you need.

It makes sense if

  • You sell to consumers and resellers from the same shop
  • You have detailed pricing and shipping rules
  • You want several stores or languages from one admin
  • You want an open source platform with no fees on sales

Consider something else if

  • Your catalogue is small and the rules simple
  • You don’t want to think about servers: look at Shopify
  • You already have a WordPress site to sell from: look at WooCommerce
  • The budget for hosting and maintenance is tight
How we work

Rules first.
Then pages.

  1. 01

    Analysis.

Catalogue, customer groups, price lists, systems to connect. This tells us which Shopware edition you need and how much custom work there is.

  2. 02

    Setup and development.

Rules, plugins and theme built on staging, with your real products. You test and comment, we fix.

  3. 03

    Launch and after.

Go-live, checks on payments, emails and tracking. Then, if you like, we stay on for updates and new features.

FAQ

What we often get asked
about Shopware.

How much does a Shopware store cost?

It depends on the project’s specs: number of products, B2B rules, plugins to write and systems to connect, plus a licence if you need the paid editions. After an analysis we send you a written quote.

Is Shopware free?

The Community Edition is open source. Some features are in the paid editions, and licence terms also depend on the store’s revenue: we check them with you before starting.

Shopware or Magento?

For many B2B and multi-store projects Shopware covers what’s needed with less complexity and a lighter server. Magento is still better suited to huge catalogues and very deep integrations. It depends on numbers and processes, and we’ll tell you once we’ve seen them.

Can you migrate from Shopware 5 to Shopware 6?

Yes. Shopware 6 is a new platform, not an upgrade: data and URLs are migrated, theme and plugins are rebuilt. We give you an estimate once we’ve seen what’s been customised.

Can Shopware connect to my ERP?

Yes, through the Admin API or ready-made connector plugins. Before estimating we check what your ERP offers, so we know how much work the integration takes.
