Custom websites

A website made for you.
Not from a template.

We design and build custom websites: from the Figma design to the code, on WordPress or on Next.js with Payload CMS. Fast, accessible and with an admin you can actually use.

What’s included

From the design
to the admin panel.

A custom website isn’t just a different look. It’s a structure built around your content.

  1. 01

    Custom design.

We start from content and goals, not from a theme. We design the pages in Figma: you see and comment on them before they become code.

    • UX
    • Design system
  2. 02

    Clean code.

Code written for that site, no plugins that do ten things so you can use one. Less weight, fewer updates, fewer surprises.

    • HTML
    • CSS
    • JavaScript
    • PHP
  3. 03

    An admin you can use.

Clearly named blocks and fields, preview before publishing, content in several languages. You update the site without calling us every time.

    • Multilingual
  4. 04

    Fast and findable.

Optimised images, Core Web Vitals under control, structured data and meta tags in order.

    • Accessibility

WordPress or Payload?

Two paths.
We pick the right one.

We don’t have a favourite platform. We recommend the one that makes sense for your site and for whoever will run it.

WordPress

  • The most widespread CMS, many people already know it
  • Custom themes with tailored blocks
  • Great for company and editorial sites
  • Lots of plugins, to be used with care

Next.js + Payload

  • An admin built around your content
  • Very fast, no plugins to update
  • Multilingual, drafts and live preview
  • Ideal if the site will grow into a web app
How we work

From the draft
to the live site.

  1. 01

    Structure and content.

Site map, existing and missing copy, what the site has to do. This is where we start, not with colours.

  2. 02

    Design in Figma.

The main pages designed for desktop and mobile. Comments and changes before a single line of code.

  3. 03

    Built on staging.

The site takes shape on a test environment you can visit. You can load content while we finish it.

  4. 04

    Launch.

Redirects from the old site, speed and accessibility checks, Search Console. Then we show you how to use the admin.

FAQ

About custom websites,
what people ask us.

How much does a custom website cost?

It depends on the project’s specs, mainly pages, features and languages. After a chat we send you a written quote with scope, timing and price, with no hidden items. We explain the figures you find around, from freelancers and agencies, in the note on how much a website costs.

How long does it take to build a website?

It depends on size and on how much content is ready: timing is often set by copy and photos more than by code. The quote includes an estimate for each phase.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. We build the admin around your content, with clearly named fields and blocks, and at handover we show you how to use it.

WordPress or a headless site?

WordPress is perfectly fine for most company and editorial sites. Next.js with Payload makes sense if you want top speed, a fully tailored admin, or a site that will grow into a web app. We’ll tell you once we understand the project.

Do you rebuild existing sites?

Yes. We start from what works and what doesn’t, bring the content over and set up redirects so you don’t lose your Google rankings.

Will the site be optimised for Google?

If you need it, yes: the quote lists technical SEO item by item, meaning heading structure, meta tags, structured data, sitemap and speed. Content strategy and campaigns are a separate job.
