SaaS and digital product development
From the idea
to your first subscribers.
We design and build SaaS products: from the first version you put in users’ hands to growth. Accounts, subscriptions, payments and an admin panel, on infrastructure that holds up as users grow.
Launch first.
Then expand.
The biggest risk with a SaaS isn’t technical: it’s spending months building something nobody uses. So we clearly separate what you need at launch from what can wait.
In the first version
- The feature that solves the main problem
- Sign-up, login and password reset
- One paid plan and a free trial
- A panel to see users and subscriptions
When customers ask for it
- Teams, roles and invites
- More plans, discounts and annual billing
- Integrations with other tools
- More advanced reports and stats
Clear scope
We decide together what goes into the first version and what doesn’t.
Solid foundations
Accounts, data and payments done right from the start, because redoing them later is costly.
Measure
After launch we look at what users actually use.
What we work with
Everything that sits
behind a subscription.
The parts you don’t see in a demo, but that decide whether the product holds up.
- 01
Accounts, teams and roles.
Sign-up, secure login, inviting colleagues, different permissions for admins and users.
- 02
Subscriptions and payments.
Monthly and annual plans, free trials, plan changes, renewals and failed payments, all handled automatically.
- 03
Multi-tenancy.
Each customer only sees their own data, even though everyone uses the same application. A choice to get right from the start.
- 04
Onboarding and email.
The first few minutes decide whether a user stays. Welcome flows, automatic emails and in-product messages.
- 05
Admin panel.
For you and your team: customers, subscriptions, support and content, without having to call a developer.
From the idea
to a live product.
- 01
Idea and scope.
Who it’s for, what problem it solves, what the first version must do. We put it in writing.
- 02
Designing the flows.
Sign-up, first experience, main feature. We design them in Figma and test them before any code.
- 03
First version.
Built on staging with frequent releases, so you see the product grow week by week.
- 04
Launch and growth.
Going live, first users, fixes. Then new features follow what customers ask for.
Design, code and servers.
In the same hands.
- 01
After launch, too.
The first version is just the start. New features, fixes and releases: we keep working on them with you, month after month.
- 02
Design and code together.
Whoever designs the interface and whoever writes the code work side by side. Fewer handovers, less lost along the way.
- 03
Infrastructure, too.
We look after servers, deploys, backups and monitoring, as your user base grows too.
What people planning
a SaaS ask.
What is an MVP and why start there?
It’s the first version of the product with the minimum needed to solve the main problem. It gets you online sooner, costs less and lets real users tell you what to build next.
How much does it cost to build a SaaS?
It depends mostly on how many features go into the first version, which we set with an analysis before starting. Once the scope is defined we send a quote with timing and price. Often the best way to save is to cut features, not to pick cheap technology.
How do you handle subscriptions and recurring payments?
We rely on a trusted payment provider for cards and renewals, and wire the product so plans, trials, changes and failed payments update on their own.
What does multi-tenant mean?
That several customer companies use the same application, but each only sees its own data and users. It’s a decision to make early, because changing it later is expensive.
Can the product grow without being rebuilt?
That’s the goal. We use widely adopted technology and a tidy architecture, so adding features or users doesn’t mean starting over. We also say so when a shortcut today would cost a lot tomorrow.
Will you sign a confidentiality agreement about the idea?
Yes, on request we sign an NDA before going into the details of the project.
What goes
around a SaaS.
- 01Web and mobile appsInternal tools, client portals, dashboards and iOS and Android apps built around the way you actually work, connected to the systems you already use.
- 02React and Next.jsWeb apps and interfaces in React and Next.js, written in TypeScript: new projects, frontends for existing backends and projects to take over.
- 03Node.jsBackends, APIs and integrations in Node.js and TypeScript: the unseen part of web apps, SaaS and ecommerce, tidy and documented.
- 04UI and UX designInterfaces, prototypes and design systems in Figma, designed by the people who then build them: no surprises between design and code.
- 05Servers and DevOpsLinux servers set up and managed, hosting, automated deploys, staging, monitoring and migrations without taking the site down.
Got a product idea?
Let’s put it to the test.
Tell us about it even if it’s just a hunch: we’ll work out where to start together.
