Panettone since 1932, sold in 43 countries. Two sites, one custom theme.
A bakery founded in 1932, the world’s first organic panettone, on the shelves at Harrods. And two very different ways to buy a panettone.
Fraccaro makes panettone, pandoro and colomba with sourdough in Castelfranco Veneto, and sells in 43 countries. It speaks to two audiences: buyers, shops and press on one side, people ordering a gift for home on the other. One site would have mixed them up; two sites built from scratch would have doubled the work with every change.
We designed in Figma and built one custom WordPress theme that runs both sites and changes where the two audiences look for different things.
The corporate site tells the story, the product lines and the certifications. The WooCommerce shop sells to consumers: you can also choose by packaging (gift boxes, tins, wraps), with a wishlist, a personal account, a side cart and tiered discounts. Both run in five languages.

Sales are packed into a few weeks. Before the holidays the server scales out, so the shop handles the peaks and goes back to normal afterwards.
